AI Experience

We have experience in developing AI/Expert Systems for use in the Psychiatry field. The prediction of mood disorders has been automated through interactions with MOODIS, an Expert System to assist doctors in evaluating patients with psychological disorders. A similar AI system can be the Diabetic Assistant, to help physicians analyze and tailor treatments to diabetic patients.

We have developed a Machine Learning system to learn from interacting with the environment using percept agents and Big Data collected from many sensory devices.

We have participated as Machine Learning experts for analyzing Biological Big Data and developing Artificial Intelligence driven solutions that unveiled novel proteins as key regulators of the immune system in project with Grant No. K22AI112570 from National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA.

We have participated as AI experts for mining experimentally validated microRNA: gene interactions from scientific literature in project 09 SYN - 13 - 1055 ‘MIKRORNA’ from the Greek General Secretariat for Research and Technology.

We have participated as AI experts for analyzing Biological Big Data and developing Artificial Intelligence driven frameworks that perform species-agnostic genome-wide characterization of microRNA gene regulatory elements in project ‘TOM’ implemented under the ‘ARISTEIA’ Action of the ‘OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME EDUCATION AND LIFELONG LEARNING’ co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and National Resources."
